We have become fellows with Christ and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first newborn confidence and original assured expectation firm and unshaken to the end.
When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ
And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then He Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.
Thus you were circumcised when you were buried with Him in your baptism, in which you were also raised with Him to a new life through your faith in the working of God as displayed when He raised Him from the dead.
O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him.
Recalling unceasingly before our God and Father your work energized by faith and service motivated by love and unwavering hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
But now put away and rid yourselves of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips! Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have clothed yourselves with the new, which is renewed and remolded into knowledge after the image of Him Who created it.
Strip yourselves of your former nature which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; and be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new nature in true righteousness and holiness.
