I passed on to you first of all what I also had received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
That He was buried, that He arose on the third day as the Scriptures toretold, and that He appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve. Then later He showed Himself to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time
Strip yourselves of your former nature which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; and be constantly renewed in th spirit of your mind.
Without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must believe that God exists and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.
For the proclaiming of this Gospel I was appointed a herald and a special messenger and a teacher to the Gentiles.
As one man’s false step and falling away led to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness leads to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men.
Now to Him Who, by the power that is at work within us, is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think- To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
If any person is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has passed away. Behold the fresh and new has come!
We are writing to you about the Word of Life, Him Who existed from the beginning, Whom we have heard, Whom we have seen with our own eyes, Whom we have gazed upon and have touched with our hands,
God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me.
