Also to enlighten all men and make plain to them

what is the plan of the mystery kept hidden

through the ages and concealed until now in

God Who created all things by Christ Jesus.

That through the church the complex,

multifaceted wisdom of God in all its

infinite variety and innumerable aspects

might now be made known to the

angelic rulers and authorities in

the heavenly sphere.

This is in accordance with the terms

of the eternal and timeless purpose

which He realized and carried into

effect in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Harmony in Marriage

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ

(the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Wives, be subject (the Savior of His body.

be submissive and adapt yourselves

to your own husbands as (a service) to the Lord.

For the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head

of the Church, Himself the Savior of His body.

As the Church is subject to Christ, so let wives also

be subject in everything to their husbands.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church

and gave Himself up for her,
