LIVING

But concerning the dead being raised-

have you not read in the book of Moses,

in the passage about the burning bush,

how God said to him, I am the God of

Abraham, and the God of Isaac and the

God of Jacob?

He is not the God of the dead, but of the

living! You are very wrong.

(Mark 12.26 &27).

EXPLAINING

And Jesus said to them, O foolish ones

and slow of heart to believe everything

that the prophets have spoken!

Was it not necessary and essentially

fitting that the Christ should suffer all

these things before entering into His

glory?

Then beginning with Moses and all the

Prophets, He went on explaining and

interpreting to them in all the Scriptures

the things concerning and referring to

Himself.

(Luke 24.25-27).

SPLENDID

Now if the dispensation of death

engraved in letters on stone, was

inaugurated with such glory and

splendor that the Israelites were

not able to look steadily at the face

of Moses because of its brilliance,

a glory that would pass away,

Why should not the dispensation

of the Spirit (this spiritual ministry

whose task it is to cause men to

to obtain and be governed by the

Holy Spirit) be attended with much

greater and more splendid glory?

(II. Corinthians 3. 7 & 8).

LOVE

I have told you of things that happen

right here on the earth and yet you

don’t believe Me, how can you believe

if I told you of heavenly things.

And yet no one has ever gone up to

heaven, but there is One Who has

come down from heaven- the Son

of Man, Who has His home in heaven.

And just as Moses lifted up the serpent

in the desert, so must the Son of Man be

lifted up.

In order that everyone who believes in

Him may not perish, but have eternal

life and live forever!

For Go so greatly loved and dearly

prized the world that He gave up

His only begotten Son, … Continue Reading

VERY BOLD

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face

to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance

was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to

this day tha same veil remains when the old covenant is read.

It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord … Continue Reading

SURPASSING GLORY

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved

in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites

could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its

glory, fading though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit

be even more glorious? If the ministry that condemns men is

glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings

righteousness!

For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the

surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory,

how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

(II. Corinthians 3.7-11).

ONE CONDITION

Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law and its righteous requirements.

He is also the fulfillment of all the types presented in the Law

which pointed to Him. The Temple, the High Priest, the high

holy days, the sacrifices and offerings all pointed to Him and

culminated in Him. In Him the purpose of the Law, the end

which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled.

The purpose of the Law is fulfilled in Christ Jesus our Lord and

Savior.

The law was designed as the means of right relationship to God for

everyone who trusts in and adheres to and relies on Him.

“For Moses writes that the man who can … Continue Reading
