RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY

The kingdom of God is not a matter of

food and drink, but instead it is righteousness,

peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

(Romans 14.17).

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

ENJOY

Since we are declared righteous,

and given a right standing with

God through faith, let us grasp

the fact that we have the peace

of reconciliation to hold and to

enjoy peace with God through

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through Him also we have our

access by faith into God’s favor

in which we firmly and safely

stand.

And let us rejoice and exult in

our hope of experiencing and

enjoying the glory of God.

Moreover let us also be full of

joy now! Let us exult and triumph

in our troubles and rejoice in our

suffering, knowing that pressure

and hardship produce patient and

unswerving endurance.

And endurance develops maturity

of character. And character produces

joyful and confident hope of eternal

salvation.

JESUS IS RISEN

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week,

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went

to look at the tomb.

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel

of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to

the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes

were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him

that they shook  and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know

that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

He is not here; he has risen, just as He said.

Come … Continue Reading

GREATLY REJOICE

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!

In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living

hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-

kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by

God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to

be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though

now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds

of trials. These have come so that your faith- of greater worth

than … Continue Reading

GLORY

To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you

before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy-

to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority,

through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!

Amen.

(Jude 24 & 25).

WHO

Anyone who runs ahead and does not

continue in the teaching of Christ

does not have God.

Whoever continues in the teaching has

both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you and

does not bring this teaching, do not

take him into your house or welcome him.

Anyone who welcomes him shares

in his wicked work.

I have much to write to you, but I do not want to

use paper and ink.

Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with

you face to face,

so that our joy may be complete.

The children of your chosen sister send their greetings.

(II. John 9-13)

THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE

Jesus saw that they wanted to ask Him

about this, so he said to them,

“Are you asking one another what I

meant when I said, ‘In a little while

you will see Me no more, and then

after a little while you will see Me’?

I tell you the truth, you will weep

and mourn while the world rejoices.

You will grieve, but your grief will

turn to joy. A woman giving birth to

a child has pain because her time has

come; but when her baby is born

she forgets the anguish because of

her joy that a child is born into the

world. So with you: Now is your

time of grief, but … Continue Reading

SHARED

When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth

to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had

shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.

On the eight day they came to circumcise the child, and they

were going to name him after his father Zechariah, but his mother

spoke up and said, “No! He is to be called John.”

They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who has that

name.”

Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to

name the child. He asked for a writing tablet, and to … Continue Reading

BLESSED

At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town

in the hill country of Judea, where she entered

Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. When

Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped

in Elizabeth’s womb and Elizabeth was filled with

the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed:

“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the

child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the

mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the

sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my

womb leaped for joy. Blessed is she who has believed that

what the Lord has said to … Continue Reading

THE GOD OF HOPE

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as

you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope

by the power of the Holy Spirit.

(Romans 15.13).
