GREATEST WORTH AND ADVANTAGE

Whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me,

I have come to consider as one combined loss for Christ’s sake.

Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the

possession of the priceless privilege ( the overwhelming preciousness,

the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus

my Lord and progressively becoming more deeply and intimately

acquainted with Him ( of perceiving, recognizing and understanding Him

more fully and clearly). For His sake I have lost everything and consider

GOD’S HOUSEHOLD

And He designed to reconcile to God

both Jew and Gentile united in a single

body by means of His cross, thereby

killing the enmity and bringing the feud

to an end.

And He came and preached the glad tidings

to you who were afar off and peace to those

who were near.

off or near) now have an introduction (access)

by one (Holy) Spirit to the Father ( so that we

are able to approach Him).

God Is Love

 GOD’S LOVE IS THE BEST NEWS

St. John, the disciple who penned this statement in I. John 4.8

experienced intimately the close relationship, love, friendship

and presence of Jesus Christ.

He referred to himself as” the disciple Jesus loved”. You might ask

whether the other disciples did not feel or experience the same love.

The fact is that because  St. John “The Divine” had a close friendship

with Jesus, he in turn experienced the love of Jesus much more

intensely than the rest.

He also wrote,

” By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.”
