MOST CERTAINLY

And Peter opened his mouth and said:

Most certainly and thoroughly I now

perceive and understand that God

shows no partiality and is no

respecter of persons.

But in every nation he who

venerates and has a reverential

fear of God, treating Him with worshipful

obedience and living uprightly,

is acceptable to Him and sure of

being received and welcomed by Him.

You know the contents of the message

which He sent to Israel, announcing

the good news (BEST NEWS EVER) 

of peace by Jesus Christ,

Who is Lord of all-

The  same message which was

proclaimed throughout all Judea,

BELIEVE

He said to them, “Go into all  the world and preach

the good news to all creation.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,

but whoever does not believe remains condemned.

And these signs will accompany those who believe:

In my name they will drive out demons;

they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes

with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison,

it will not hurt them at all;

GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY

In those days Caesar Augustus issued

a decree that a census

should be taken of the entire Roman world.

 (This was the first census that took place while

Quirinius was governor of Syria.)

And everyone went to his own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth

in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David,

because he belonged to the house and line of David.

He went there to register with Mary,

who was pledged to be married to him and

was expecting a child.
