HEALED

He personally bore our sins in His body

on the tree, that we might die to sin and

live to righteousness. By His wounds you

have been healed.

(I. Peter 2. 24).

READ

When you read this you can understand

my insight into the mystery of Christ.

This mystery has never been disclosed

to human beings in past generations

as it has now been revealed to His holy

apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit.

It is this: that the Gentiles are now to be

fellow heirs with the Jews, members of

the same body and joint partakers in the

same divine promise in Christ through

their acceptance of the glad tidings

(the Gospel-Best News Ever).

(Ephesians 3.4-6).

ONE

The cup of blessing of wine

at the Lord’s Supper upon

which we ask God’s blessing,

does it not mean that in

drinking we participate in

and share a fellowship, a

communion in the blood of Christ,

the Messiah? The bread which we

break, does it not mean that in eating

it we participate in and share a fellowship,

a communion in the body of Christ?

For we no matter how numerous we are,

are one body, because we all partake of the

one Bread (the One Whom the communion

bread represents).

(I. Corinthians 10.16 & 17).

GLORIOUS INHERITANCE

I pray also that the eyes of your heart

may be enlightened in order that you

may know the hope to which He has

called you, the riches of His glorious

inheritance in the saints, and His

incomparably great power for us who

believe.

That power is like the working of His

mighty strength, which He exerted

in Christ when He raised Him

from the dead and seated Him

at His right hand in the heavenly

realms, far above all rule and

authority, power and dominion,

and every title that can be given

not only in the present age

but also in the one to come.

And God placed all things under His

feet and appointed Him to be … Continue Reading

YOUR HEART

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,

since as  members of one body you were

called to peace.

(Colossians 3.15).

SO

So I will always remind you of these things,

even though you know them and are firmly

established in the truth you now have.

I think it is right to refresh your memory as long

as I live in the tent of this body, because I know

that I will soon put it aside,

as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.

And I will make every effort to see that after

my departure you will always be able

to remember these things.

(II. Peter 1.12-15).

CHRIST’S SACRIFICE ONCE FOR ALL

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming- not the

realities themselves.

For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly

year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.

If it could, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshippers

would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty

for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it

is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said:

“Sacrifice and offering you did not … Continue Reading

BODY

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

(I. Corinthians 12.27).

UNIT

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though

all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.

For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews

or Greeks, slave or free- and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

(I. Corinthians 12. 12&13).

SOME MAY ASK

But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body

will they come?” How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless

it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a

seed, perhaps of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body as He

has determined, and to each kind of seed He gives its own body. All flesh

is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animal have another, birds

another and fish another. There are heavenly bodies and there are earthly

bodies; but the splendor of the … Continue Reading
