And have clothed yourselves with the new spiritual self, which is evr in the process of being renewed into fuller and more perfect knowledge after the image of Him Who created it
Behave yourselves wisely (living prudently and with discretion) in your relations with those of the outside world, making the very most of the time and seizing (buying up) the opportunity
Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned (as it were) with salt,(so that you may never be at a loss)
to know how you ought to answer anyone (who put a question to you).
Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s chosen ones (His own picked representatives) who are purified and holy and well beloved by God Himself by putting on behavior marked by tender-hearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a humble esteem of ourselves, gentle patience which is tireless and long-suffering and has the power to endure whatever comes with good temper
Pray for us that God may open a door for us to proclaim the Best News Ever by unfolding and making clear the mystery of Christ Jesus or Lord and Savior
Making your ambition to work with your hands peacefully and having the respect of the outside world being dependent on nobody and having need of nothing
Parents,do not be hard or harass your children lest they become discouraged, feel inferior and frustrated.
Parents, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger and resentment, but rear them in the training, counsel and admonition of the Lord
So that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone
And how can men preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings!But they have not all heeded the Gospel; for Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us? So faith comes by the preaching of Christ.
