GOD DEMONSTRATES
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

REJOICE
Not only is this so, but we rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom we have now received reconciliation.

SURELY
But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punisment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
