SO THIS I SAY
So this I say and solemnly testify in the name of the Lord as in His
presence, that you must no longer live as the heathen do in their
perverseness, in the folly, vanity and emptiness of their souls and
the futility of their minds.
Their moral understanding is darkened and their reasoning is clouded.
They are alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is
deep-seated in them, due to their hardness of heart.
(Ephesians 4. 17 and 18).
POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE
1) Those alienated from the life of God are unable to understand
the truth and waste their minds and lives in fruitless and futile
pursuits, thus extending their emptiness and folly.
2) St. Paul is solemnly and soberly is warning believers to avoid
the pitfalls of ignorant living with the spiritual blindness that is
natural.
3) This spiritual blindness is directly related to their hardness of heart.
This insensitivity results in clouded thinking and irrational behavior.
4) True spirituality results from being reborn of the Holy Spirit.
PRAISE TO OUR LORD JESUS WHO HAS RESCUED US FROM THIS
IRRATIONAL AND FUTILE EXISTENCE.
