THE SUCCESSFUL CHRISTIAN

When angry, do not sin, do not ever let your wrath (exasperation, fury or

indignation) last until the sun goes down.

Leave no room or foothold for the devil (give no opportunity to him).

Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him be industrious, making an

honest living with his own hands, so that he may be able to give to those

in need.

Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or

worthless talk ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good

and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and

the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace to those who hear it.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God (do not offend or vex or sadden

Him), by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured)

for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil

and the consequences of sin).

(Ephesians 4.26-30).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

1) Avoidance of sin even when angry, not remaining angry, working

honestly and diligently, speaking the truth in love with edifying and

wholesome words, obeying the Holy Spirit top the to do list of the

successful Christian.

2) We praise You Lord for your ever present help and guidance.

We are grateful for your direction, blessing and protection always.
