Now listen, you who say, Today or tomorrow we will go

to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business

and make money. Why, you do not even know what will

happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that

appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you

ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this

or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil.

Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t

do it,sins.

Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery

that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths hav

eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion

will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded

wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen

who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the

harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived

on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in

the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered innocent men,

who were not opposing you.

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits

for the land to yield its va;luable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and

spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The judge is

standing at the door!

(James 4.13-16; 5.1-9).

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

God directly, genuinely and unmistakeably encounters us in Christ Jesus.

Authentically and inevitably He is present in the reality of our life. We find

no rest, no truth and no real answer until we encounter the Way, the Truth

and the Life. Christ Jesus Himself. If the Son sets you free, you are really

free. You shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free.

Nothing else and no one else will do. Every other way is false.

Salvation is found in no other name.

We encounter God because He confronts us with His Truth. This is

the existential, life-changing and world-changing knowledge of God

that in Christ Jesus God reconciled us to Himself . He went through the

most horrendous torture and death for us and rose on the third day to

defeat sin and death to give all who believe in Him eternal Life with Him.

The boundless, unlimited and incalculable wealth of grace in Christ which is

beyond human comprehension is bestowed upon us who now believe.

God’s freedom, favor and fabulous blessings are on you as you trust and

put your confidence in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

For I always pray to the God

of our Lord Jesus Christ, the

Father of glory, that He may

grant you the spirit of wisdom

revelation ( of insight into

mysteries and secrets) in the

( deep and intimate) knowledge

of Him,

By having the eyes of your

heart flooded with light, so that

you can know and understand the

hope to which He has called you,

and how rich is His glorious

 inheritance in the saints.

( Ephesians 1.17 and 18).

PPOINTS FOR MEDITATION

AND PRAISE

1) The Holy Spirit provides you the

 power to know the Father better.

This knowledge is intimate, deep

and experiential. This is first hand

knowledge, unlike other types of

learning about facts and concepts.

This is knowledge which is your own,

primary knowledge.

2) This primary or first hand knowledge

is also known as PROPER KNOWLEDGE.

3) One way to characterize this type of

knowledge is to realize that this knowledge

is now yours. It is your own. You own this

knowledge and it is part of you and who

you are; your property, so to speak.

3) We  have this PROPER KNOWLEDGE,

deep and intimate relation and revelation

 of God the Father through the Holy Spirit.

4) This is how the eyes of your heart

are flooded with light, because He is

pure and total light.

5) Thereby you get to know the hope

of His calling, the great wealth of the

glory of His heritage in the saints.

HALLELUJAH! AMEN!

The Spirit Himself bears witness

with our spirit that we are children

of God.

And if children, then heirs also,

heirs of God and joint heirs with

Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him,

that we may also be glorified together.

For I consider that the sufferings of

this present time are not worth being

compared with the glory which shall

be revealed in us.

( Romans 8.16-18).

INSPIRATION

Meditate on the following:

1) The Holy Spirit testifies together with

our spirit that we are God’s children.

2)Since we are children of God, everything

ultimately and essentially belongs to us.

3) We are joint heirs with Christ, because

we are in Christ and we are God’s children.

3) Jesus Christ suffered and we also suffer,

however the sufferings of this life are not

worthy to be compared to the glory which

will be revealed in us.

4) These verses put the notions of property,

wealth,resources and riches in a totally new

light.

5) These verses also shed significant light on

the human condition, providing a new

perspective on the predicament of pain

and suffering not previously found in other

teachings.
