Yearnings Beyond Words

For we were saved in this hope,
but hope that is seen is not hope.
For how can one hope for what she
already sees.
But if we hope for what is still unseen
by us, we wait for it with patience and
composure.
So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid
and bears us up in our weakness.
For we do not know what prayer to
offer nor how to offer it worthily as
we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes
to meet our supplication and pleads
in our behalf with unspeakable
yearnings and groanings too deep
for utterance.
( Romans 8.24-26).
INSPIRATION
Meditate on the following:
1) The hope of redemption for our bodies.
2) The meaning of hope
3) Waiting patiently
4) The Holy Spirit articulates our deepest
yearnings. These are yearnings for which
words do not yet exist in our vocabulary.
5) These yearnings without words are
communicated for us via the Holy Spirit.
PRAISE THE LORD O MY SOUL!
