So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess our acknowledgment of it, for He Who promised is reliable and faithful to His word.
Practice what you have learned and seen in me and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace will be with you.

Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
And we are in Him Who is true- even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
We know that we are the children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him Who is true. And we are in Him Who is true- even in His Son Jesus Christ. As all Truth is in Jesus, remove your old corrupt nature and put on the new nature created in God’s image in true righteousness and holiness
