This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loveing God and carrying out His commands. This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.
And this is what He promised us-even eternal life.
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist- he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone who loves the Father loves His child as well.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come back to you.
Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. At that time you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you.
I will grant whatever you shall ask in My name.
