ENRICHED
Sunday, April 22nd, 2012Being enriched in every thing
to all bountifulness, which
causes through us thanksgiving
to God.
(II.Corinthians 9.11).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Being enriched in every thing
to all bountifulness, which
causes through us thanksgiving
to God.
(II.Corinthians 9.11).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”
With that same spirit of faith we also believe and
therefore speak, because we know that the One Who
raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise
us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence.
All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is
reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving
to overflow to the glory of God.
(II.Corinthians 4.13-15).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer
and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will
guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4.6 & 7).
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends
all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in
Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4.4-7).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times
some will depart from the faith, giving heed to
deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own
conscience seared with a hot iron,
Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain
from foods which God created to be received with
thanksgiving by those who believe and know
the truth.
(I.Timothy 4.1-3).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS
FOREVERMORE!
As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord,
walk in union with Him.
Have your roots firmly planted, being continually built
up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and
established in the faith, just as you were taught,
abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.
(Colossians 2.7)
HALLELUJAH! AMEN!
O GIVE THANKS
O Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His
mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has
delivered from the hand of the adversary,
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east
and from the west, from the north and from the sea
in the south.
Some wondered in the wilderness in a solitary desert
track, they found no city for habitation.
Hungry and thirsty, they fainted, their lives were near
to being extinguished.
then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He
delivered them out of their distresses.
He led them forth by the straight and right way, that
they might go to a city where they could establish their
homes.
Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and
loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children
of men!
For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in
affliction and in irons.
Because they had rebelled against the words of God and spurned
the counsel of the Most High.
Therefore He bowed down their hearts with hard labor, they
stumbled and fell down and there was no one to help.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and He saved them
out of their distresses.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and
broke apart the bonds that held them.
Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and loving-
kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He has broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron.
Some are fools because of the way of their transgressions and
are afflicted because of their iniquities.
They loath every kind of food and they draw near to the gates of death.
Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble and He delivers them out
of their distresses.
He sends forth His Word and rescues them from the pit and destruction.
Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness
and His wonderful works to the children of men!
And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and rehearse His
deeds with shouts of joy and singing!
Some go down to the sea and travel over it in ships to do business
in great waters.
These see the works of the Lord and His wonders in the deep.
For he commands and raises up the stormy wind, which lifts
up the waves of the sea.
Those aboard mount up to the heavens, they go down again
to the deeps, their courage melts away because of their plight.
They reel to and fro and stagger like a drunken man and are
at their wits’ end, all their wisdom has come to nothing.
Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble and He brings them
out of their distresses.
He hushes the storm to a calm and to a gentle whisper, so that
the waves of the sea are still.
Then the men are glad because of the calm, and He brings them
to their desired haven.
Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness and loving-
kindness and wonderful works to the children of men!
Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people and
praise Him in the company of the elders.
He turns rivers into a wilderness, water springs into a thirsty ground.
A fruitful land into a barren, salt waste, because of the wickedness of
those who dwell in it.
He turns a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry ground into water
springs.
And there He makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city
for habitation,
And sow fields and plant vineyads which yield fruits of increase.
He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and
allows not their cattle to decrease.
When they are diminished and bowed down through oppression,
trouble and sorrow,
He pours contempt upon princes and causes them to wonder in
waste places where there is no road.
Yet He raises the poor and needy from affliction and makes their
families like a flock.
The upright shall see it and be glad, but all iniquity shall shut its mouth.
Whoso is wise will observe and heed these things and they will diligently
consider the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord.
(Psalm107).
PRAISE THE LORD! THANK YOULORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Not because of works (not the
fulfillment of the Law’s demands),
lest any man should boast.
(It is not the result of what anyone
can possibly do, so no one can
pride himself in it or take glory
to himself.)
For we are God’s (own) handiwork
(His workmanship), recreated in
Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we
may do those good works which
God predestined (planned beforehand)
for us (taking paths which He prepared
ahead of time), that we should walk in
them (living the good life which He
prearranged and made ready for us
to live.
(Ephesians 2.9 and 10).
POINTS FOR PRAISE AND
THANKSGIVING
1) Our salvation was not based
on any merit. It was by free
grace (unmerited favor).
2) Our salvation is God’s gift.
3) Our salvation is not due
to our diligent fulfillment of
the Law’s requirements.
4) No one can take pride or
boast in their performance.
5) On the other hand we are
the product of God’s performance.
You are God’s handiwork
(His workmanship). He recreated us
in Christ Jesus to do the good works
that He has planned out for us to do.
6) His destiny for you is to walk in those
good works He has prepared for you and
live out His marvelous way of life.
HALLELUJAH!
CALLED TO PEACE
Do not fret or have any anxiety
about anything, but in every
circumstance and in everything,
by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, continue to make
your wants known to God.
And God’s peace which transcends
all understanding shall garrison
and guard over your hearts and
minds in Christ Jesus.
( Philippians 4. 6 and 7).
MEDITATION POINTS
Meditate on these facts:
1) Make your request known to God
in every circumstance and in everything
by prayer and with thanksgiving.
2) Do not fret or have anxiety, but
when you make your petitions to God
thank Him in advance.
3) God’s peace passes understanding and
guards and watches over your thoughts
and feelings.
4) Jesus Christ gives us His peace through
the Holy Spirit.
REALLY FREE
There is therefore now no condemnation
to those who are in Christ Jesus,
who do not walk according to the flesh,
but according to the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus has freed me
from the law of sin and death.
( Romans 8.1 and 2).
INSPIRATION FOR
THANKSGIVING AND PRAISE
Consider these:
1) The meaning of true freedom.
2) Declared: “Not guilty!” by God Himself.
3) Being in Christ Jesus.
4) Walking according to the Spirit.
5) The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
sets us free from the law of sin and death.
Every one of these points are of monumental
importance and deserve in- depth exploration.
Meditate and reflect on each of these.
