HONOR
Tuesday, May 15th, 2012Through Him you believe in God,
Who raised Him up from the dead
and gave Him honor and glory, so
that your faith and hope rest in God.
(I. Peter 1.21).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Through Him you believe in God,
Who raised Him up from the dead
and gave Him honor and glory, so
that your faith and hope rest in God.
(I. Peter 1.21).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
What shall we say, then?
Shall we go on sinning so
that grace may increase?
By no means! We died to
sin; how can we live in it
any longer?
Or don’t you know that all
of us who were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into
His death? We were therefore
buried with Him through baptism
into death in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead through the
glory of the Father, we too may live a
new life.
If we have been united with Him like
this in His death, we will certainly also
be united with Him in His resurrection.
For we know that our old self was crucified
with Him so that the body of sin might be
done away with, that we should no longer
be slaves to sin- because anyone who has
died has been freed from sin.
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that
we will also live with Him.
For we know that sine Christ was raised
from the dead, He cannot die again;
death no longer has mastery over Him.
The death He died, He died to sin once
for all; but the life He lives, He lives to
God.
In the same way, count yourselves dead
to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal
body so that you obey its evil desires.
Do not offer the parts of your bodies to sin,
as instruments of wickedness, but rather
offer yourselves to God, as those who have
been brought from death to life; and offer
the parts of your body as instruments of
righteousness. For sin shall not be your
master, because you are not under law,
but under grace.
(Romans 6.1-14).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Those who live according to the
sinful nature have their minds set
on what that nature desires.
But those who live in accordance
with the Spirit have their minds set
on what the Spirit desires.
The mind of sinful man is death, but
the mind controlled by the Spirit is
life and peace.
The sinful mind is hostile to God.
It does not submit to God’s law,
nor can it do so.
Those controlled by the sinful
nature cannot please God.
You, however, are controlled not
by the sinful nature but by the Spirit,
if the Spirit of God lives in you.
And if anyone does not have the Spirit
of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
But if Christ is in you, your body is dead
because of sin, yet our spirit is alive because
of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him Who
raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, He
Who raised Christ from the dead will also give
life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, Who
lives in you.
(Romans 8.5-11).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LOR JESUS FOREVERMORE!
We die to sin; how can we live
in it any longer? Or don’t you know
that all who were baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into His
death? We were therefore buried
with Him through baptism into
death in order that, just as Christ
was raised from the dead through
the glory of the Father, we too
may live a new life.
(Romans 6.2b-4).
HALLELUJAH THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced
that One died for all, and therefore all died. And He
died for all, that those who live should no longer
live for themselves but for Him Who died for them
and was raised again.
So from now on we regard no one from a worldly
point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in
this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone
is in Christ, he or she is a new creation; the old has
gone, the new has come!
All this is from God, Who reconciled us to Himself
through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ,
not counting men’s sins against them. And He has
committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though
God were making His appeal through us.
We implore you on Christ’s behalf:
Be reconciled to God.
God made Him Who had no sin to be sin
for us, so that in Him we might be come
the righteousness of God.
(II. Corinthians 5.14-21).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Since, then you have been raised with Christ,
set your hearts on things above, where Christ
is seated at the right hand of God.
(Colossians 3.1)
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Paul, an apostle – sent not from men nor by men,
but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, Who raised
Him from the dead- and all the brothers with me,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and
the Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for our
sins to rescue us from the present evil age,
according to the will of our God and Father,
to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
(Galatians 1.1-5).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
The word is near you. It is in your mouth
and in your heart, that is the word of faith
we are proclaiming: That if you confess with
your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in
your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved.
(Romans 10.8 &9).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.

(Romans 6.8-11).
