Wednesday, March 30th, 2011He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach
the good news to all creation.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved,
but whoever does not believe remains condemned.
And these signs will accompany those who believe:
In my name they will drive out demons;
they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes
with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison,
it will not hurt them at all;
they will place their hands on sick people, and they will
get well.”
After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was
taken up into the heaven and He sat at the right hand
of God. Then the disciples went out and preached
everywhere, and the Lord worked with
them and confirmed His word by the signs that
accompanied it.

THE TRUE LIGHT

which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the
message you have heard. Yet I am writing to you a new command; its
truth is seen in Him and you, because the darkness is passing and the
true light is already shining.
Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in
darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is
nothing in him to make him stumble. But whoever hates his brother is
in the darkness and walks around in the darkness, he does not know where
he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
(I.John 1.7&11).

YOUR NEW REAL LIFE
Sunday, November 21st, 2010If then you have been raised with Christ to a new life sharing His
resurrection from the dead, aim at the rich eternal treasures above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
And set your minds and keep them set on the higher things above,
not on the earthly things.
For as far as this world is concerned, you have died and your new
real life is hidden with Christ in God.
(Colossians 3.1-3).

knowledge, after the image of Him Who created it.

THE NEW HUMAN
Thursday, November 5th, 2009For He is Himself our peace, our bond
of unity and harmony. He has made
us both Jew and Gentile one body,
and has broken down, destroyed, abolished
the hostile dividing wall between us.
By abolishing in His own crucified flesh
the enmity caused by the Law with its decrees
and ordinances (which he annuled), that He
from the two might create in himself one
new human (one new quality of humanity out
of the two), so making peace.
(Ephesians 2.14 and 15).
POINTS FOR PRAISE AND MEDITATION
1) Jesus Christ is our peace.
He is the way, the truth and the life.
He is our wisdom. He is the resurrection
and the life. He is also our peace.
2) The wall of separation that existed
under the old covenant no longer
exists under the new covenant.
The barrier is no longer there.
Belief in Jesus Christ allows entering into
the covenant made possible by His
blood. This covenant is made with better,
much greater and everlasting promises.

NEW THOUGHT PATTERN
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Because the mind of the flesh
with its carnal thoughts and
purposes is hostile to God,
for it does not submit itself
to God’s Law, indeed it cannot.
So then those who are living
the life of the flesh, catering
to the appetites and impulses
of their carnal nature cannot
please or satisfy God, or be
acceptable to Him.
But you are not living in the
life of the flesh, you are living
the life of the Spirit, if the Holy Spirit
of God really dwells within you and
directs you.
( Romans 8.7-8a).
INSPIRATION FOR MEDITATION
Meditate on the following:
1) The thought pattern prior to
spiritual rebirth.
2) The new thought pattern after
being filled with God’s Holy Spirit.
3) The contrast between those two
thought patterns.
MADE NEW IN THE SPIRIT

For when we were in the flesh,
the sinful passions which were
awakened by the Law were at
work in our members bore
fruit to death.
But now we have been discharged
from the Law, having died to
what we were held by,
so that we should serve in the
newness of the Spirit
and not in the oldness
of the letter.
( Romans 7.5 and 6).
Consider these:
1) Before being reborn of the Spirit,
obeying the letter of the Law was
the order of the day.
2) After your Spiritual rebirth you
can live in new freedom to obey
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
by yielding to the promptings
of the Holy Spirit.
3) Daily thanks and praises to God
increase because of our new life.
4) All of this is made possible because
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
granted us His resurrection life
with resurrection power.
