LIVING
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living!
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living!
Then beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He went on explaining and interpreting to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning and referring to Himself.
Now if the dispensation of death which was engraved in letters on stone, was inaugurated with such glory and splendor that the Israelites were not able to look steadily at the face of Moses because of its brilliance, a glory which was to fade and pass away,
Why shoud not the dispensation of the Spirit (this spiritual ministry whose task it is to cause men to obtain and be governed by the Holy Spirit) be attended with much greater and more splendid glory?
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, Who is the Spirit.
For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
Jew or Greek, Asian or African, European or American, rich or poor, we are saved by faith in Christ Jesus Who is resurrected.
God Who is faithful imputes our faith to us as the right standing of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.
