Who is there to condemn us?

Will Christ Jesus the Messiah,

Who died and Who was also raised

from the dead, Who is at the

right hand of God actually pleading

as He intercedes for us?

( Romans 8.34).

MEDITATION POINTS

Please meditate on these points:

1) The love of God is so tremendous

that He made atonement for us and

furthermore Jesus Christ our risen Lord

and Savior intercedes for us.

2) God is for us. He is on our side.

His love for us is infinite.

MADE RIGHT

Who shall bring any charge against

God’s elect, when it is God Who puts

us in right relation to Himself ?

Who shall come forward and accuse

or impeach those whom God has chosen?

Will God, Who acquits us?

( Romans 8.33).

MEDITATION AND PRAYER POINTS

Meditate and pray about the following:

1) The immense peace that comes from

knowing that you are loved and accepted

by God Himself.

2) The fact that God, Who is rich in mercy,

because of His great love with which He

loved us,

Even when we were dead in trespasses,

made us alive together with Christ ( by

grace you have been saved),

And raised us up together, and made us

sit together in the heavenly places in

Christ Jesus. ( Ephesians 2.4-6).

GOD’S GREATEST GIFT

GOD’S GREATEST GIFT

What then shall we say to these things?

If God is for us, who can be against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but

delivered Him up for us all, how shall He

not with Him also freely give us all things?

( Romans 8.31 and 32).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION

 Please meditate on the following:

1) God has definitely demonstrated His

amazing love to us in that

while we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ

died for us to give us everlasting life in Him.

2) God has already given us the greatest

proof of His love by not holding back

His only begotten Son. This means that He

will  hold nothing back, but with Him also

freely and graciously give us all things.

EVEN WE OURSELVES

EVEN WE OURSELVES

For we know that the whole creation

groans and labors with birth pains

together until now.

Not only the creation, but we ourselves

too, who have and enjoy the first fruits

of the Holy Spirit, even we

ourselves groan within ourselves

 eagerly waiting for the redemption

of our bodies which will reveal our

adoption as God’s sons.

( Romans 8. 22 and 23).

MEDITATION POINTS

Meditate about the following:

1) The entire creation is awaiting the

manifestation of God’s children.

2) The entire creation groans and labors

in labor pains until then.

3) We also who have and enjoy the

firstfruits of the Holy Spirit ( a foretaste

of the blissful world to come)  groan inwardly

as we wait for the redemption of our bodies,

which will reveal our adoption and our

manifestation as God’s children.

4) Then the entire world will enjoy the

happiness, satisfaction and fulfillment

 of knowing Jesus Christ.

Creation 2.0

CREATION 2.0

For even the whole creation-all nature-

waits expectantly and longs earnestly

for God’s sons to be made known.

For the creation was subjected to futility

not because of some intentional fault on its

part, but by the will of Him

Who subjected it- yet with the hope

that creation itself will be set free

from its bondage to decay and corruption

and gain an entrance into the

glorious freedom of God’s children.

( Romans 8.19-21).

MEDITATION

Meditate on the following:

1) Hope that’s seen is not hope, because

the hoped for reality is not yet manifested.

2) Now hope does not disappoint, because

the love of God has been poured out in our

hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to

us ( Romans 5.5).

3) Nature is subjected to decay, entropy,

futility and frustration, yet awaits with eager

anticipation the manifestation of God’s children.

4) Beloved, now we are the children of God,

and it has not yet been revealed what we

shall be, but we know that when He is revealed

we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him

as He is. ( I.John 3.2).

5) When Jesus Christ is revealed, then

God’s children will also be revealed.

At that time nature will escape corruption.

Spirit of Life

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Therefore, brothers and sisters,

we are debtors- not to the flesh,

to live according to the flesh.

For if you live according to the

flesh you will die. But if through

the power of the Holy Spirit you

are habitually putting to death

the evil deeds prompted by the

carnal nature, you will live.

( Romans 8.12 and 13).

INSPIRATION FOR MEDITATION

Meditate on these points:

1) The carnal sinful nature leads

to sin and death.

2) The Holy Spirit leads us to right

standing with God and guides us

to right thinking and actions

3) The Holy Spirit is in eternal

communion with the Eternal Father

and the Eternal Son.

4)The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life.

With the Holy Spirit we have eternal

life as sons and daughters of the Eternal.

5) Eternal life is knowing the Father and His

unique Beloved Son Jesus Christ through

His Holy Spirit.

NEW THOUGHT PATTERN

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Because the mind of the flesh

 with its carnal thoughts and

purposes is hostile to God,

for it does not submit itself

to God’s Law, indeed it cannot.

So then those who are living

the life of the flesh, catering

to the appetites and impulses

of their carnal nature cannot

please or satisfy God, or be

acceptable to Him.

But you are not living in the

life of the flesh, you are living

the life of the Spirit, if the Holy Spirit

of God really dwells within you and

directs you.

( Romans 8.7-8a).

INSPIRATION FOR MEDITATION

Meditate on the following:

1) The thought pattern prior to

spiritual rebirth.

2) The new thought pattern after

being filled with God’s Holy Spirit.

3) The contrast between those two

thought patterns.

Right Thinking

Monday, September 28th, 2009

For those who live according to

the flesh set their minds on the

things of the flesh, but those who

live according to the Spirit, the

things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death,

but to be spiritually minded is

life and peace.

( Romans 8.5 and 6).

RIGHT THINKING

HALLMARK OF A  SPIRITUAL

MIND

Consider and meditate on the following:

1) Carnal minds contemplate merely

physical thoughts. Their sphere of

ideation is restricted to things, places,

activities related to physical desires.

2) Those who live according to the

Holy Spirit meditate on Spiritual

concepts and reflect on the ideas

inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Spirit led thoughts characterized by

love, joy, peace,patience,kindness,

goodness and faithfulness are the

hallmark of a spiritual mind.

3) When you are spiritually minded

you have eternal, unconditional

life and peace. The Kingdom of God

is right thinking, peace and joy in

the Holy Spirit.
