YOURSELVES
Wednesday, May 16th, 2012Humble yourselves in the presence
of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
(James 4. 10).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
Humble yourselves in the presence
of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
(James 4. 10).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
Now who is here to hurt you if you are
zealous followers of that which is good?
But even in case you should suffer for
the sake of righteousness, you are blessed.
Do not be afraid of their threats, nor be
disturbed by their opposition.
But in your hearts set Christ apart as holy
and acknowledge Him as Lord.
Always be ready to give a logical defense
to anyone who asks you to account for
the hope that is in you, but do it courteously
and respectfully.
(I.Peter 3.13-15).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
The spiritual man can read the meaning of
everything, but no one can properly discern
him.
For who has known the mind of the Lord so as
to guide Him? But we have the mind of Christ
and do hold the thoughts of His heart.
(I. Corinthians 2.16).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You.
I will praise Your name,
for You have done
wonderful things, even
purposes planned of old
and fulfilled in faithfulness
and truth.
(Isaiah 25.1).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
(Jeremiah 29.11).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends
all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in
Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4.4-7).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Parents, do not irritate and provoke your children to anger
(do not exasperate them to resentment) , bur rear them
(tenderly) in the training and discipline and the counsel
and admonition of the Lord.
(Ephesians 6.4).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Behold! upon the mountains the feet of him who
brings good tidings, who publishes peace!
Celebrate your feasts, O Judah! Perform your vows.
For the wicked counselor shall no more come
against you or pass through your land; he is
utterly cut off.
( Nahum 1.15)
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet
of him who brings good tidings, who publishes
peace, who brings good tiding of good, who
publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!
( Isaiah 52.7).
And how canĀ men preach unless they are sent?
As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those
who bring glad tidings!
But they have not all heeded the Gospel; for Isaiah
says, Lord, who has believed what he has heard
from us?
So faith comes by hearing, and what is heard comes
by the preaching of Christ.
( Romans 10.15-17).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me
His prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the
power of God Who has saved us and called us to a holy life- not
because anything we have done but because of His own purpose
and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the
beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the
appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, Who has destroyed death
and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel
(The Best News Ever).
(II. Timothy 1.8-10).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
ONE LORD
There is one Lord,
one faith, one baptism.
(Ephesians4.5).
POINTS FOR MEDITATION
AND PRAISE
1) Jesus Christ is the supreme
power in all creation.
2) As Creator and Savior
He sums all wisdom, majesty
and authority. ( Matthew 28.18).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
He conquered the grave.
He gives us His victory.
He gave us
eternal salvation!
