PEACE
Thursday, June 9th, 2011Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge
of God and of Jesus our Lord.
(II.Peter 1.2).
HALLRELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge
of God and of Jesus our Lord.
(II.Peter 1.2).
HALLRELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature:
sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is
idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now
you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice,
slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other,
since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on
the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its
Creator.
(Colossians 3.5-10).
HLLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness;
and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to
self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to
godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will
keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge
of our Lord Jesus Christ. But if anyone does not have them, he is
nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed
from his past sins.
(II. Peter 1.5-9).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ.
To those who through the righteousness of our God
and savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious
as ours:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge
of God and of Jesus our Lord.
(II.Peter 1.1 & 2).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self
with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being
renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.
(Colossians 3.9 & 10).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
And now I will show you the most excellent way.
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but
have not love, I am a resounding gong or a clanging
cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom
all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith
that can move mountains, but have not love, I am
nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender
my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not
boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love
does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always
protects, always trusts, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will
cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where
there is knowledge it will pass away. For we know in part
and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the
imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child,
I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a
man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection
as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then
I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of
these is love.
(I. Corinthians 12.31b-13.1-13).

When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth
to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had
shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy.
On the eight day they came to circumcise the child, and they
were going to name him after his father Zechariah, but his mother
spoke up and said, “No! He is to be called John.”
They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who has that
name.”
Then they made signs to his father, to find out what he would like to
name the child. He asked for a writing tablet, and to everyone’s
astonishment he wrote, “His name is John.”
Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue was loosed,
and he began to speak, praising God. The neighbors were all
filled with awe, and throughout the hill country of Judea people
were talking about all these things. Everyone who heard this
wondered about it, asking, “What then is this child going to be?”
For the Lord’s hand was with him.
His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and
prophesied:
“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
because He has come and has redeemed His people.
He has raised up a horn of salvation for us
in the house of His servant David
(as He said through His holy prophets of long ago),
salvation from our enemies
and from the hand of all who hate us-
to show mercy to our fathers
and to remember His holy covenant,
the oath He swore to our father Abraham:
to rescue us from the hand of our enemies,
and to enable us to serve Him without fear
in holiness and righteousness before him all our days.
And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High;
for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for Him,
To give His people the knowledge of salvation
through forgiveness of their sins,
because of the tender mercy of God,
by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven
to shine on those living in darkness
and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the path of peace.
And the child grew and became strong in spirit,
and he lived in the desert until he appeared
publicly to Israel.
(Luke 1.57-80).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
But thanks be to God, Who always leads us in triumphal
procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere
the fragrance of the knowledge of Him.
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who
are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one
we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life.
And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not
peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ
we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.
(II. Corinthians 2.14-17).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
But now put away and rid yourselves completely of all these
things: anger, rage, bad feelings toward others, curses and slander.
and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!
Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old self
with its evil practices,
And have clothed yourselves with the new (spiritual self), which is
ever in the process of being renewed into fuller and more perfect
knowledge, after the image of Him Who created it.
(Colossians 3.8-10).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
May He grant you out of the rich treasury of
His glory to be strengthened
and reinforced with mighty power in the
inner man by the Holy Spirit .
May Christ through your faith dwell in your hearts!
May you be rooted
deep in love and founded securely on love,
That you may have the power and be strong
to apprehend and grasp
with all the saints what is the breatdth and
length and height and depth.
That you may really come to know practically,
through experience for
yourselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses
mere knowledge without experience;
that you may be filled through all your being unto
all the fullness of God!
(That you may have the richest measure of
the divine Presence, and
become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself)!
Now to Him Who, by the action of His power
that is at work in us,
is able to carry out His purpose and do
superabundantly, far over
and above all that we dare ask or think,
infinitely beyond our highest
prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams-
To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughtout all
generations forever and ever. Amen.
(Ephesians 3.16-21).
HALLELUJAH! WE PRAISE YOU AND THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
