HOW YOU CAN RECOGNIZE
Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011Those who obey His commands live in Him, and He in them.
And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the
Spirit He gave us.
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to
see whether they are from God, because many false prophets
have gone out into the world. This is how we you can recognize
the Spirit of God: Every Spirit that acknowledges that Jesus
Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit
that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.
This is the spirit of the antichrist which you have
heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because
the One Who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
(I. John 4.1-4).

FROM DEATH TO LIFE
Saturday, January 29th, 2011This is the message you heard from the beginning:
We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who
belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother.
And why did he murder him? Because his own actions
were evil and his brother’s were righteous. Do not be
surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. We know
that we have passed from death to life because we love
our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know
that no murderer has eternal life in him.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life
for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
(I.John 3.11-16).

AS JESUS

The man who says, “I know Him,” But does not do what He commands
is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His word, God’s
love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him:
Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.
(I. John1.3-6).

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010Now there was a certain man among the Pharisees
named Nicodemus, a ruler among the Jews,
Who came to Jesus at night and said to Him,
Rabbi, we know and are certain that You have
come from God; for no one can do these signs
that You do unless God is with him.
Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly
I tell you, that unless a person is born again, he cannot
ever see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when
he is old? Can he enter his mother’s womb again and
be born?
Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
unless a man is born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot
enter the kingdom of God.
What is born of the flesh is flesh; and what is born of the
Spirit is spirit.
(John 3.1-6).

IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH
Sunday, August 1st, 2010The woman said to Him, Sir, give me this water,
so that I may never get thirsty nor have to come
here to draw.
At this, Jesus said to her, Go, call your husband
and come back here.
The woman answered, I have no husband. Jesus
said to her, You have spoken truly in saying I have
no husband.
For you have had five husbands, and the man you
are now living with is not your husband. In this you
have spoken truly.
The woman said to Him, Sir, I see and understand
that You are a prophet.
Our forefathers worshipped on this mountain, but
you Jews say that Jerusalem is the place where it is
necessary and proper to worship.
Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me a time is coming
when you will worship the Father neither in this mountain
nor in Jerusalem.
You Samaritans do not know what you are worshipping.
We do know what we are worshipping for salvation comes
from among the Jews.
A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when
the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and
in truth; for the Father is seeking just such people as these
as His worshippers.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship
in spirit and in truth.
(John 4.15-24).

RECEIVE
Thursday, July 29th, 2010He arrived at a Samaritan town called Sychar,
near the tract of land that Jacob gave to his son
Joseph.
And Jacob’s well was there. So Jesus, tired as He
was from His journey, sat down by the well.
It was then about noon.
Presently, when a woman of Samaria came to draw
water, Jesus said to her. Give Me a drink-
For His disciples had gone off into the town to buy food-
The Samaritan woman said to Him, How is it that You,
being a Jew, ask me a Samaritan woman, for a drink?-
For the Jews have nothing to do with the Samaritans-
Jesus answered her, If you had only known and had
recognized God’s gift and Who it is that is saying to you,
Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him and He
would have given you living water.
(John 4.5-10).

THE GOOD SHEPHERD
Sunday, July 18th, 2010The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy.
I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down
His life for the sheep.

THE DOOR
Thursday, July 15th, 2010So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,
that I Myself am the door of for the sheep.
All others who came before Me are thieves and robbers,
but the sheep did not listen to and obey them.
I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved.
He will come in and will go out , and will find pasture.
(John 10.7-9).
