WE CONFESS
Sunday, October 9th, 2011Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who
share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts
on Jesus, the apostle and high priest Whom we
confess.
(Hebrews 3.1).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who
share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts
on Jesus, the apostle and high priest Whom we
confess.
(Hebrews 3.1).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body
will they come?” How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless
it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a
seed, perhaps of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body as He
has determined, and to each kind of seed He gives its own body. All flesh
is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animal have another, birds
another and fish another. There are heavenly bodies and there are earthly
bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor
of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon
another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.
So will it be with the resurrection of the dead.
The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown
in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.
(I.Corinthians 15.35-44).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
Jesus replied, Are you the teacher in Israel, and yet
do not know nor understand these things?
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, We speak only
of what we know; we have actually seen what we are
testifying to, we were eyewitnesses of it. And still you
do not receive our testimony.
If I have told you of things that happen right here on the
earth and yet none of you believes Me, how can you
believe if I tell you of heavenly things?
And yet no one has ever gone up to heaven, but there is One
Who has come down from heaven- the Son of Man, Who dwells
in heaven.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert on a pole,
so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
So that everyone who believes in Him may not perish, but
have eternal life and live forever!
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave
up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not
perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge the world,
but that the world might find salvation through Him.
He who believes in Him is not judged; but he who does not believe is
judged already and has already been convicted because he has not
believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
The basis of the judgement lies in this: the Light has come into the
world, and people have loved darkness rather than the Light, for
there works were evil.
For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and will not come out into the
Light, but shrinks from it, lest his works be exposed and reproved.
But he who practices truth comes out into the Light; so that his
works may be plainly shown to be what they are- done with God’s help.
(John 3.10-21).
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!
And He raised us up together
with Him and made sit down
together (giving us joint seating
with Him) in the heavenly sphere
(by virtue of us being)in Christ
Jesus ( the Messiah, the Anointed
One).
(Ephesians 2.6).
POINTS FOR MEDITATION
AND PRAISE
God Who is extremely rich
in mercy, in order to fulfill His
intense love for us,
even when we were dead in
trespasses and sins, made us
alive together in fellowship
and union with Christ; gave
us the very life of Christ Himself,
the same new life with which He
quickened Him, He raised us up
together with Him and
now He made us sit in the
heavenly sphere with Him,
by virtue of being in Christ.
Our response has to be
endless praise, adoration,
worship, devotion and
obedience.
HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU!
THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
MADE RIGHT
Who shall bring any charge against
God’s elect, when it is God Who puts
us in right relation to Himself ?
Who shall come forward and accuse
or impeach those whom God has chosen?
Will God, Who acquits us?
( Romans 8.33).
MEDITATION AND PRAYER POINTS
Meditate and pray about the following:
1) The immense peace that comes from
knowing that you are loved and accepted
by God Himself.
2) The fact that God, Who is rich in mercy,
because of His great love with which He
loved us,
Even when we were dead in trespasses,
made us alive together with Christ ( by
grace you have been saved),
And raised us up together, and made us
sit together in the heavenly places in
Christ Jesus. ( Ephesians 2.4-6).
Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places
in Christ,
Just as He chose us in Him before
the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame
before Him in love,
Having predestinated us to adoption
as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of
His will,
To the praise of the glory of His
grace, by which He made us
accepted in the Beloved.
(Ephesians 1.3-6).
