Hear, O Lord, have mercy and
be gracious to me! O Lord, be
my helper!
You have turned my mourning
into dancing for me. You have
put off sackcloth and girded me
with gladness,

Even if you have been banished
to the most distant land under
the heavens, from there the Lord
your God will gather you and bring
you back. He will bring you to the
land that belonged to your fathers,
and you will take possession of it.
He will make you more prosperous
and numerous than your fathers.
The Lord your God will circumcise
your hearts and the hearts of your
descendants, so that you may love
Him with all your heart and with all
your soul, and live.
(Deuteronomy 30.4-6).

I pray also that the eyes of your heart
may be enlightened in order that you
may know the hope to which He has
called you, the riches of His glorious
inheritance in the saints, and His
incomparably great power for us who
believe.
That power is like the working of His
mighty strength, which He exerted
in Christ when He raised Him
from the dead and seated Him
at His right hand in the heavenly
realms, far above all rule and
authority, power and dominion,
and every title that can be given
not only in the present age
but also in the one to come.
And God placed all things under His
feet and appointed Him to be head
over everything for the church,
which is His body, the fullness of Him
Who fills everything in every way.

For the word of God is living and active.
Sharper than any double-edged sword,
it penetrates even to the dividing soul
and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges
the attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all
creation is hidden from God’s sight.
Everything is uncovered and laid bare
before the eyes of Him to Whom we must
give account.
(Hebrews 4.12 &13).

For it is with your heart that you believe
and are justified, and with your mouth
that you confess and are saved.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines.
For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with
foods which have not profited those who have been occupied
with them.
(Hebrews 13.9).
