with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said

to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened,

which the Lord has told us about.”

So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying

in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what

had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what

the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered

them in her heart. The shepherd returned, glorifying and praising God for all the

things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

(Luke 2.13-20).

For my strength and power are made perfect in your weakness.

Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses,

that the strength and power of Christ may rest upon me.

(II. Corinthians 12.9).

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

The meaning of being reborn of the Spirit and made alive in Christ Jesus unto good works

which  He has prepared for us implies a new man. Under grace and not under the Law, as

Abraham, justified not by the keeping of the Law, but by the grace of God, through faith.

This is purely God’s miracle, a divine effect. This is brought about by God, Who wants all

to come to Him, to know Him and love Him, to worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

This is far beyond all human expectation, enthusiasm and enterprise.

Grace is the impossible made possible by God. Grace is the miracle by which you

are given  the gift beyond all gifts and unexpected favor above all favors.

Its effect is expressed in Romans 6.23:

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS FOREVERMORE!

(God’s unmerited favor)

that you are saved

(delivered from

judgement and made

partakers of Christ’s

salvation) through

faith. And this salvation

is not of yourselves

(of your own doing, it

came not of our own

striving), but it is

God’s gift.

(Ephesians2.8).

POINTS FOR PRAISE

1) God granted us His

salvation because of

His goodness and grace.

2) We are saved by grace

through faith.

3) His salvation is totally

a gift. God’s gift.

4) We participate in Christ’s

salvation through our faith.

Our faith is also God’s gift.

clearly demonstrate

through the ages to come

the unlimited riches of

His free grace in His kindness

toward us in Christ Jesus.

( Ephesians 2.7).

POINTS OF PRAISE AND

MEDITATION

1) God’s magnificent

unlimited favor is

demonstrated to

us in His acts.

2) His goodness and

His lovingkindness

never fail.

3) He has shown very

clearly His amazing

divine love for

humanity

through Jesus Christ.

4) The ministry and passion

of Christ are the most

explicit proof of the

fact that God is indeed love.

5) His amazing favor toward

us will demonstrate His love

through countless generations

in ages to come.

HALLELUJAH!

For He foreordained us, planned in love

for us to be adopted and revealed as His

own children through Jesus Christ, in

accordance with the purpose of His will,

because it pleased Him and was His kind

intent.

So that we might be to the praise and the

commendation of His glorious grace and favor

which He so freely showered on us

in the Beloved.

( Ephesians 1. 5 and 6).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION

Please meditate on these facts:

1) God revealed His love by preordaining

you to be His child through Jesus Christ.

2) His purpose for His plan is for us to be

to the praise of His grace.

3) His grace has been freely poured out

in the Beloved ( Jesus Christ our Lord

and Savior.

4) The extremely deep significance of God’s

plan of redemption and adoption.

AMEN!

Even as in His love He chose us

for Himself as His very own in Christ

before the foundation of the world,

that we should be holy, set apart for

Him and blameless in His sight,

above reproach, before Him in love.

( Ephesians 1.4)

Points for meditation:

1) God, Who is love, in His love chose you

to be His very own in Christ Jesus our Lord

and Savior.

2) He did this before He made the world.

3) He did this to make us holy in His sight.

4) This holiness comes from Him, Who set

us free from sin and death.

5) This is entirely due to His grace which is

unmerited favor culminating in peace,

reconciliation, harmony, unity, tranquility

granted through the Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus

our Lord and Savior.

AMEN!

Paul, an apostle (special messenger) of

Christ ( the Messiah) Jesus, by the divine

will ( the purpose and the choice of God)

to the saints ( the consecrated, set-apart

ones) at Ephesus who are also faithful and

loyal and steadfast in Christ Jesus:

May grace ( God’s unmerited favor) and

spiritual peace ( peace with God and harmony,

unity, undisturbedness) be yours from God

our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

May blessing be to the God and Father of

our Lord Jesus Christ Who has blessed us

in Christ with every spiritual blessing in

the heavenly realm.

( Ephesians 1.1-3).

Meditation points:

1) Your calling is by God’s divine will.

2) Your election by God signifies His

will to consecrate you and set apart

for His holy plan.

3) This means that God’s grace, His

favor rests on you and nothing can

separate you from His acceptance and

lavish love, nothing can disturb your peace

in Him.

4) God’s blessings on you are blessings intrinsic

to being in Jesus Christ with every blessing

bestowed by the Holy Spirit granted in the

heavenly realm, the eternal kingdom of God.

But then Law came in

to expand the trespass

and make it apparent.

But where sin increased

God’s unmerited favor

superabounded.

So that as sin reigned

in death,

even so grace ( unearned

favor) might reign through

righteousness to eternal life

through Jesus Christ or Lord.

( Romans 5.20 and 21).

OUR RESPONSE TO

GOD’S SUPERABUDANT

FAVOR

is to yield ourselves as a

living sacrifice to God

as we shall see in the

following verses.

(Those of us who were

baptized into Christ Jesus

were baptized into His death.

We were buried therefore

with Him through baptism into

death, so that just as Christ was

raised from the dead by the

glory of the Father, even so

we also should walk in newness

of life.

( Romans 6.1-3).

Meditate and pray on the immense

significance and  impact of this

new birth and new life.
