So I ask you not to lose heart

(not to faint or become

despondent through fear)

at what I am suffering in

your behalf.

(Rather glory in it) for

it is an honor to you.

For this reason (seeing

the greatness of this plan

by which you are built

together in Christ), I bow

my knees before the Father

of our Lord Jesus Christ,

For Whom every family in

heaven and on earth is named

(that Father from Whom all

fatherhood takes its title and

derives its name.

(Ephesians 3.13-15).

POINTS OF MEDITATION
AND PRAISE

1) We do not become discouraged

by the difficulties and adversities.

Rather we consider those as an

honor and glory in them. We know

that all things work together for good

to those who love God and are called

according to His purpose. (Romans 8.

28b).

2) Seeing the greatness of God’s plan

according to which we are now being

built together in Christ, we worship

our Heavenly Father, the Father of

our Lord Jesus Christ.

3) Our Heavenly Father is the originator

of fatherhood, motherhood and family.

We are His children in the truest sense.
