SING

Praise the Lord.

Sing to the Lord a new song,

His praise in the assembly of the saints.

Let Israel rejoice in their Maker.

Let the people of Zion be glad in their King.

Let them praise His name with dancing

and make music to Him with tambourine and harp.

For the Lord takes delight in His people;

He  crowns the humble with salvation.

Let the saints rejoice in this honor

and sing for joy on their beds.

May the praise of God be in their mouths

and a double-edged sword in their hands,

to inflict vengeance on the nations and

punishment on the peoples,

to bind their kings with fetters,

their nobles with shackles of iron,

to carry out the sentence written

against them.

This is the glory of all His saints.

Praise the Lord.

(Psalm 149).

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

Let the people of Zion be glad in their king.

Let them praise His name with dancing

and make music to Him with

tambourine and harp.

For the Lord takes delight in his people

Spiritual Dilemma

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Now if I do what I do not desire

to do, it is no longer I who do it,

but sin that dwells in me.

So I find it to be a rule of action

within my being that when I want

to do what is right and good, there

is evil in me, though I desire to do good.

For I delight in the Law of God

according to the inward man.

But I see another law in my members,

at war against the law of my mind,

making me a prisoner to the law of

sin which is in my members.

O wretched man that I am!

Who will deliver me from this

body of death?

I thank God! He will through Jesus

Christ our Lord!

So then, with the mind I myself

serve the Law of God, but with the

flesh the law of sin.

( Romans 7.20-25).

Please consider these points:

1) This dual nature presents a dilemma.

2) Flesh versus mind ( carnal versus

spiritual) continue to be in conflict.

3) The only way out of this dilemma

is to submit to the Lordship of Jesus.

4) The divine rescue mission is

accomplished by Jesus Christ our

Lord and Savior who died to deliver us

from our sins and rose to grant us

eternal life with Him, with The Father

and with the Holy Spirit.

REMEMBER HIS WORKS

REMEMBER HIS WORKS

Praise the Lord!

I will praise and give thanks

to the Lord with my whole heart

in the council of the upright and

in the congregation.

The works of the Lord are great,

sought out by all those who have

delight in them.

His work is honorable and glorious

and His righteousness endures forever.

He has made His wonderful works to be

remembered.

The Lord is gracious, merciful and full

of loving compassion.

He has given food and provision to those

who reverently and worshipfully fear Him,

He will remember His covenant forever

and imprint it.

He has declared and  shown to His people

the power of  His works in giving them the

heritage of  the nations.

The works of His hands are absolute truth

and justice.

All His decrees and precepts are sure.

They stand fast  and  are established forever

ever and are done in truth and uprigthness.

He has redeemed His people

He has commanded His covenant forever.

Holy is His name, inspiring awe, reverence

and godly fear.

The reverent fear and worship of the Lord is

the beginning of wisdom and skill.

A good understanding have all those who do

the will of the Lord.

Their praise of Him endures forever.

( Psalm 111).

Consider the following:

1) The Lord’s work is creation and salvation.

2) His work is blessing, grace, mercy and compassion.

3) Our admiration and appreciation increase as we are

made aware of His power to establish truth, justice and

righteousness.

4) Reverent respect of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is

the first essential step and prerequisite starting point of

wisdom for life.
