ALIVE

Friday, December 9th, 2011

When you were dead in your sins

and the uncircumcision of your

sinful nature, God made you alive

with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,

having canceled the written code,

with its regulations, that was against us

and that stood opposed to us; He took

it away, nailing it to the cross. And having

disarmed the powers and authorities,

He made a public spectacle of them,

triumphing over them by the cross.

(Colossians 2.13-15).

IF

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

And if the Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus

from the dead is living in you, He Who

raised Christ from the dead will also

give life to your mortal bodies

through His Spirit, Who lives in you.

(Romans 8.11).

CHOSEN

Thursday, May 5th, 2011

Since you call on a Father Who judges each man’s work impartially, live

your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not

with perishable things such as silver and gold that you were redeemed

from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but

with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these

last times for your sake. Through Him you believe in God, Who raised Him

from the dead and glorified Him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

(I. Peter 1. 17-21).

RAISED

Saturday, March 26th, 2011

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that

we will also live with Him.

For we know that since Christ

was raised from the dead,

He cannot die again; death no longer

has mastery over Him.

The death He died, He died to sin, once for all;

but the life He lives, He lives to God.

In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin,

but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

(Romans 6.8-11).

BECAUSE

Friday, March 18th, 2011

But because of His great love for us, God,

Who is rich in mercy, made us alive

with Christ even when we were dead in

transgressions- it is by grace you have

been saved.

(Ephesians 2.4 & 5).

SOME MAY ASK

Monday, November 29th, 2010

But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? With what kind of body

will they come?” How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless

it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a

seed, perhaps of wheat or something else. But God gives it a body as He

has determined, and to each kind of seed He gives its own body. All flesh

is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animal have another, birds

another and fish another. There are heavenly bodies and there are earthly

bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor

of the earthly bodies is another. The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon

another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead.

The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown

in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

(I.Corinthians 15.35-44).

THE RESURRECTION

Sunday, November 28th, 2010

But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead,

how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been

raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and

so is your faith. More than that, we have been found to be false witnesses

about God, for we have testified that about God that He has raised Christ

from the dead. But He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised.

For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your

sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only fro

this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.

(I. Corinthians 15.12-18).

WE BELIEVE

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant

about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like

the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe

that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe

that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen

asleep in Him. According to the Lord’s own word, we

tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the

coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who

have fallen asleep. For the Lord will come down from heaven,

with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with

the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up

together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage

each other with these words.

(Thessalonians 4.13-18).

INTENSE LOVE

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Among whom we all once

conducted ourselves in the

lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the

desires of the flesh and of the

mind, and were by nature

children of wrath, just as the

others.

But God, who is rich in his mercy,

because of His intense love with

which He loved us,

Even when we were dead in trespasses,

made us alive together with Christ in

fellowship and union with Christ He gave

us the very life of Christ Himself, His

resurrection life, for it is by grace, His

favor which you did not deserve that you

were saved, delivered from judgement

and made partakers of Christ’s salvation).

( Ephesians 2.3-5).

PRAISE AND MEDITATION POINTS:

1) God rescued us from a carnal and

sinful existence.

2) His rescue mission was accomplished

because of His rich mercy and intense

love toward us.

3) While we were spiritually dead and

physically dying, He made us alive by

His life in, through and by Jesus Christ

our Lord and our Savior.

AMEN! THANK YOU LORD JESUS!

RECONCILED

Friday, October 30th, 2009

And you He made alive when

you were dead in trespasses

and sins

In which at one time you walked.

You were following the course

and fashion of this world, following

the prince of the power of the air.

You were obedient to and under the

control of the spirit that still constantly

works in the sons of disobedience.

(Ephesians 2.1 and 2).

POINTS FOR PRAISES
AND MEDITATION:

1) Before our salvation,before

 we were reconciled,

were spiritually dead.

2) The only way to spiritual

rebirth is by acknowledgement

of Jesus Christ as our Lord and

Savior. Upon repentance and

baptism we are born again.

3) Prior to this spiritual rebirth

the natural person is under the sway

of the evil spirits following the prince

of the power of the air, the devil.

4) Our salvation and spiritual rebirth

positions us under the God’s favor.

5) This rebirth is described by our Lord

and Savior Jesus Christ:

” I assure you, most solemnly I tell you,

that unless a person is born again from

above, he cannot ever see ( know,

experience) the kingdom of God.”

(John 3.3).

As He explains this process:

” I assure you, most solemnly

I tell you, unless a man is born of

water and the Spirit, he cannot ever

enter the kingdom of God.

What is born of the flesh is flesh

and what is born of the Spirit

is spirit”

( John 3. 5 and 6).

PRAISE THE LORD! HALLELUJAH!
