Be glad then, you children of Zion, an rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He gives you the former rain in just measure and in righteousness, and He causes to come down for you the the rain, the former rain and the latter rain as before.
As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
And now, dear children, continue in Him, so that when He appears we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.
But just as He Who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ” Be holy, because I am holy.”
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.
We know that we are the children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him Who is true. And we are in Him Who is true- even in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and etrnal life.
This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loveing God and carrying out His commands. This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One Who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
