ENJOY

Since we are declared righteous,

and given a right standing with

God through faith, let us grasp

the fact that we have the peace

of reconciliation to hold and to

enjoy peace with God through

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through Him also we have our

access by faith into God’s favor

in which we firmly and safely

stand.

And let us rejoice and exult in

our hope of experiencing and

enjoying the glory of God.

Moreover let us also be full of

joy now! Let us exult and triumph

in our troubles and rejoice in our

suffering, knowing that pressure

and hardship produce patient and

unswerving endurance.

And endurance develops maturity

of character. And character produces

joyful and confident hope of eternal

salvation.

Such hope never disappoints, for God’s

love has been poured out in our hearts

through the Holy Spirit Who has been

given to us.

(Romans 5.1-5).

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

TRANSFORMED

Therefore, if there is any consolation

in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any

fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection

and mercy,

Fulfill my joy by being like minded,

having the same love, being of one

accord, of one mind.

Let nothing be done through selfish

ambition or conceit, but in lowliness

of mind let each esteem others better

than himself.

Let each of you look out not only for

his own interests, but also for the

interests of others.

Let this mind be in you which was also

in Christ Jesus,

Who, although being essentially one

with God and in the form of God

(possessing the fullness of the attributes

which make God Who He Is), did not

think this equality with God was a thing

to be eagerly grasped or retained,

But stripped Himself of all privileges

and rightful dignity, so as to assume

the guise of a servant, in that He became

like men and was born a human being.

And after He had appeared in human form,

He abased and humbled Himself still further

and carried His obedience to the extreme

of death, even the death of of the cross!

Therefore (because He stooped so low)

God has highly exalted Him and has

freely bestowed on Him the name that is

above every name,

That at the name of Jesus every knee must

bow, in heaven and on earth and under

the earth,

And every tongue frankly and openly confess

and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

(Philippians 2.1-11).

POINTS FOR REFLECTION AND PRAYER

1) Jesus Christ is the One above every

name that every one will eventually worship.

2) Our attitude must be just like his.

The attitude of humility. He came down

to earth to serve. We should also put the

needs of our fellow humans first. This is

the transformed character God desires.

EXTRAORDINARY RESCUE

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Therefore, since we are justified

( acquitted, declared righteous,

and given a right standing with

God) through faith, let us grasp

the fact that we have the peace

of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy

peace with God through our Lord

Jesus Christ the Messiah, the

Anointed One.

Through Him also we have received

our access ( entrance, introduction)

by faith into His grace (state of God’s

favor) in which we (firmly and safely)

stand. And let us rejoice and exult in

our hope of experiencing and enjoying

the glory of God.

Moreover let us also be full of joy now!

Let us exult and triumph in our troubles

and enjoy in our sufferings, knowing that

pressure and affliction and hardship

produce patient and unswerving

endurance.

And endurance (fortitude) develops

maturity of character (approved faith

and tried integrity).

And character (of this sort) produces

(the habit of) joyful and confident hope

of eternal salvation.

Such hope never disappoints, deludes

or shames us, for God’s love has been

poured out in our hearts through the

Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.

(Romans 5.1-5).

AMEN! HALLELUJAH!

THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
