God’s Judgement

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

God’s Judgement

The whole world is judged guilty and under sin when it tries to judge itself

and tries to justify itself. If you would ask the average man or woman, they

would tell you that they think they’re OK. This in itself is self-justification

and self-sufficiency, which is the essence of human guilt, not realizing how

much we need God. We have to admit and confess that ” there is none that

does good, no not one” that ” all have sinned and come short of the glory of

God”, and ” Why do you call me good? There is only one good and He is God”.

God’s judgement is that “man at his best altogether vanity”. The best of us

at our best, through our best efforts can at best wish to attain to vanity.

Since ‘all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God’ and ‘the wages

of sin is death’ and ‘the soul that sins shall die’ ,God in His infinite mercy

and grace decided to save us by the coming of the Son of God Jesus Christ.

Apart from this all men would be condemned to destruction and eternal

separation. To the extent that men and women try to justify and excuse

their actions by being their own judge try to acquit themselves, they stand

under the condemnation of God as sinful wrongdoers, because they are

unrepentant sinners.

“Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under

the Law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world may be

held accountable to God. For ‘no human being will be justified in His sight’

by deeds prescribed by the Law, for through the Law comes the knowledge

of sin.

But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested,

being witnessed by the Law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God

through His faithfulness in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe: for there

is no difference:

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ

Jesus Whom God has put forward as a sacrifice of atonement by His blood,

effective through faith.

He did this to show His divine forbearance He had passed over the sins

previously committed; it was to prove at the present time that He Himself

is righteous and that He justifies the one who has faith in Jesus.”

(Romans 3.19-26).

God’s righteousness leads us to repentance, to return to Him and be healed.

Despite our sinfulness, He has made a way of escape divine wrath.

He has declared us righteous because He has imputed the righteousness of

Jesus Christ to us. This is how He declares amnesty. This is how He shows

His mercy. This is the demonstration of Who He is! This is how we see His

divine and sovereign power and majesty, the miracle of our transformation

into His New Creation in Christ, our resurrection, our comeback from the

dead and return of the prodigal. This is how we know and declare what St.

Paul knew above all: Jesus Christ and Him as crucified and risen for our

for our sakes. The Lord of heaven and earth, the Unknown God who dwells

not in temples made with hands, who needs not anything, seeing that He

Himself gives to all life and breath and all things. We set forth everything

given by God to humanity, as given so that they may seek Him Who is not

far from each one of us , in Whom we live and move and have our being.

He transcends all that we are, all that we see and experience. He knows all

about us and yet He loves us despite our depravity. We announce that He

is unlike anyone or anything else we have ever known and that the Godhead

can not be molded into any one’s image or shaped into any known object

of worship. He can not be conformed to any preconceived notion or any

graven  man-made likeness by the skill or cunning of men. God has

overlooked the times of ignorance, but know in these last days He desires

that all repent and return to Him. He is not willing that any perish but all

to come to repentance. He will come to judge the world in righteousness,

His righteousness. He is the Savior and the Just Judge! HALLELUJAH!

THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

Adopted

The Truth of God, the Eternal Word, LOGOS entered into His own creation to

reconcile the fallen and broken creation to Himself as Jesus the Christ.

He is born of the Virgin Mary as very God and very Man to fulfill the Father’s

will by defeating the Devil, sin and death. In doing this He ushered in the

Kingdom of God where righteousness reigns. The Kingdom is righteousness,

peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

In the Kingdom the New Creation and the New World is based on the New

and Everlasting Covenant through His Body and His Blood. Since Jesus

Christ is very God and very Man, both Creator and Creation, He reconciled

Mankind to God, bringing the two together in union, in  Communion by His

Body and His Blood.

This reconciliation took place on the Cross at Calvary. This is how He

transformed Humanity, Nature and History.

He broke the dominion of darkness.

He brought us Light and Life.

He accomplished our reconciliation.

He granted us salvation.

He won the victory over Satan, sin and death.

He redeemed us  and brought about our adoption as sons

of the Living God.

He restored His own creation.

He revealed Himself to us.

He fulfilled His mission, so that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled

in us , who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

As we are united to Him at baptism and identify with His death, we

demonstrate our death, so we no longer walk after the flesh, but after

the Spirit in the Newness of Life.

This is how we are translated from the dominion of darkness to the

Kingdom of God’s dear Son.

The condemnation of sin in the flesh is the revelation of God’s righteousness.

This starts your New Life, Life in the Spirit.

HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

SET FREE

God’s entrance into our humanity as Jesus Christ has set us free.

Free from corruption. Free from sin and death. Free from decay.

Free from dissolution, desolation and dissilusion. Free from blindness.

Free from deafness.

Free from ignorance. Free from darkness.

He has, in His infinite wisdom, decided to be one of us, one with us!

He has chosen to share His Love, Light and Joy with us. This is His

Glory! He Who knew no sin became sin for us, so that we can become

the righteousness of God. The righteousness of God shines brighter and

brighter to the point of noon where there is no shadow and no darkness.

Here is how St. Paul explains this:

” For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as

children of Light (lead the lives of those native-born to the Light)!

For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Holy Spirit

consists in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and

trueness of life.

And try to learn (in your experience) what is pleasing to the Lord

(let your lives be constant proofs of what is most acceptable to Him).

Take no part in and have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds and

enterprises of darkness, but instead (let your lives be so in contrast to)

expose, reprove and convict them. For it is a shame even to speak of or

mention the things that such people do in secret.

But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible

and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light.

Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ

shall shine upon you and give you light.

Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and

accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensibly and

intelligently),

Making the very most of the time (buying up each opportunity) because

the days are evil.

Therefore do not be vague, thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and

firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled

and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.

Speak out to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, offering

praise with voices and instruments and making melody with all your

heart to the Lord,

At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus

Christ to God the Father.

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ (the Messiah, the

Anointed One).”

(Ephesians 5.8-21).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

1) The great and amazing salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

is to be lived out in our thought and behavior patterns.

2) This is more evident in avoiding and exposing the fruitless deeds of

darkness.

3) Another aspect is being purposeful and precise, sensible and

intelligent, making the most of each opportunity to do good and not waste

any time, because the days are evil and they have been so for the last two

thousand years.

4) It is vital that we know the Will of the Lord concerning our

lives. This is the penetrating Desire of the Parent for the Child, the

Overarching and Specific Divine Imperative for every Moment of

our Lives.

The way we CAN KNOW the Will of the Lord in every instance is found

in the very next verse:

” And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be

filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.”

The only way to know His thoughts and desires is to learn to HEAR and HEED

the still, small voice of the Lord. Then we are so on target and precise that

His Joy fills our thoughts and hearts so we are full of praises. psalms,

hymns and spiritual songs in our conversations with each other!

HALLELUJAH! COME, TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!

HE IS OUR FREEDOM, OUR LIGHT,OUR SAVIOR, OUR HEALER,OUR

LEADER AND OUR JOY! PRAISES, HONOR, GLORY, POWER BELONG

TO THE LAMB! THE LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS JESUS CHRIST!

Christmas Resolution

This Christmas Day God wants to revolutionize your life.

He wants you to come to Jesus and offer your thanks for

all He has done, to ask Him into your heart as your Lord

and Savior. He wants you to invite the Holy Spirit to lead

and inspire you in all you do.

He wants your life to be different from now on. He wants you

to live for Him. He wants you to know how much He loves you

and how much He has in store for you in the future no matter

where you have been, what you have done or haven’t done,

even if you are very old.

The Kingdom of heaven is like the pearl of great price worth

everything, when we know how great the King is. He has done

everything for us to come to Him. Now it’s our turn to

turn to Him with our whole hearts, mind and soul.

If you have already been following Jesus faithfully in your

daily walk, ask Him how you can have a closer walk and a

more intimate fellowship with Him because one word from

Him can change your life triumphantly. One insight from

Him can make you much more effective and one instruction from

Him can make all the difference. Try and see.

This year let us resolve to seek His help daily in spreading the

Best News ever to those who desperately need this message.

Jesus Christ wants this close walk, fellowship and intimacy:

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens

to and heeds my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him

and will eat with him, and he will eat with Me,

He who overcomes I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne,

as I Myself overcame and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Holy Spirit

says to the churches.

(Revelation 3. 20-22).

WE SAY, COME! COME LORD JESUS! COME HOLY SPIRIT! AMEN!

CHRISTMAS MYSTERY

CHRISTMAS MYSTERY

The birth of Jesus Christ attests to the fact that God entered into His creation

as one of us.

Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son, the Creator stepped into His creation as a

baby in a manger to rescue His creation from sin, death and destruction.

He did this to save us from darkness and desperation. He did this to give

us a future and a hope. He did this for every man, woman and child.

He did this to show us His love, mercy and grace.

He did this to show us we are His friends, brothers, sisters and joint-heirs

with Him in His Father’s Kingdom.

He did this to give us eternal life with Him by His death on the cross and

His resurrection.

He did this as the Judge bearing our judgement, as the Brother of every

man, as the Savior of every sinner, as the Friend of every foe, as the

Healer of every patient, as the Rescuer of every fallen, as the Defender

of all who suffer wrong, as the Giver of every good gift, as the King of

the everlasting Kingdom, as the as the Leader of everlasting peace,

as the Master of the universe, as the Omnipotent Ruler, as the Ancient

of Days, as the Ultimate Man, the baby born in a manger for you and for me!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! WE LOVE YOU JESUS! WE ADORE YOU!
PRAISE, GLORY, HONOR, MAJESTY AND POWER BE TO JESUS OUR LORD!

GOD AND SINNERS RECONCILED

GOD AND SINNERS RECONCILED

We pray that you may be invigorated and strengthened with all power

according to the might of His glory, to exercise all kinds of endurance,

patience and perseverance with joy.

Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share

the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God’s holy people) in

the Light.

The Father has delivered and has drawn us to Himself out of the control

and dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the

Son of His love,

In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of

our sins.

Now He is the exact likeness of the unseen God (the visible representation

of the invisible); He is the firstborn of all creation.

For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on the earth,

things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or

authorities; all things were created and exist through Him and inHim

and for Him.And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all

things are held together.

He is also the head of His body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning,

the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything might

occupy the chief place.

For it has pleased the Father that all the divine fullness (the sum total

of the divine perfection, powers and attributes) should dwell in (Jesus

Christ) permanently.

And God purposed that through Him (the Son) all things should be

completely reconciled back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven,

as through Him, made peace by means of the blood of His cross.

And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him

and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities,

Yet know has (Christ, the Messiah) reconciled (you to God) in the body

of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and

irreproachable in His  (the Father’s) presence.

(Colossians 1.11-22).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

1) Jesus Christ is the exact likeness and visible representation of our

Father in heaven. Jesus Christ told Philip that seeing Him is seeing the

Father. (John 14.9). He existed before anything was created and everything

was made by, through and for Him. He holds everything together.

He is the head of the church, the Firstborn of all creation and the Firstborn

from the dead. Jesus Christ has all divine fullness, perfection, majesty, power

given Him permanently by the Father.

2) Jesus Christ reconciled us by His blood in order to present us holy and

beyond reproach in His Father’s presence.

God’s Self-Revelation is the Absolute Truth

Monday, December 21st, 2009

God’s Self-Revelation is the Absolute Truth

God’s Self Revelation in Jesus Christ as the Way the Truth and the Life

precludes any other way, truth or life:

” I am the Way, the Truth and the Life: no man comes to the Father

except by me.

If you had known Me (had learned to recognize Me), you would also have

known my Father. From now on, you know Him and have seen Him.

Philip said to Him, Lord show us the Father,  that is all we ask, then we shall

be satisfied.

Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time, and do you not

recognize and know Me yet Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the

Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me?

What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own

accord: but the Father Who lives continually in Me does His works, His own

miracles.

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me: or else believe Me

for the sake of the works themselves.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me,

he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater

things than these, because I go to the Father.

And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be

glorified and extolled in the Son,

I will grant whatever you shall ask in My name.

If you love Me you will keep My commands.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Helper,

Counselor, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener and Standby), that He may

remain with you forever-

The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive, because it does not

see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him,

for He lives with you and will be in you.

I will not leave you as orphans (comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn,

helpless); I will come back  to you.

Just a little while now, and the world will not see Me any more, but you will

see Me; because I live, you will live also.

At that time you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and

I am in you.

The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who really

loves Me; and whoever really loves Me will be loved by My Father and I will

love him and show Myself to him.

(John 14.6-21).

Jesus said, I asure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door

for the sheep.

All others who came before Me were thieves and robbers, but the true sheep

did not listen to and obey them.

I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live).

He will come in and he will go out freely and find pasture.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they

may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it

overflows).

I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His own

life for the sheep.

(John 10.7-11).

POINT FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

God’s self-revelation is present in the verses we have read. Jesus Christ

as the Eternal Son is in the Father, the Father is in Him and the Holy Spirit

is sent by the Father through Jesus Christ to live in us and that Jesus Christ

live in us and us in Him eternally and abundantly! HALLELUJAH!

THANK YOU LORD JESUS FOREVERMORE!

Be Strong in the Lord

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

Be Strong in the Lord

To be a good and Godly husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, man,

woman, employee, employer, citizen of the Kingdom of God we all need to

be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

St. Paul distills all of the lessons provided to Him by Jesus Christ Himself:

“In conclusion, be strong in the Lord (be empowered through your union

with Him); draw your strength from Him (the strength which His boundless

might provides).

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able successfully to stand

up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical

opponents), but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the

master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the

spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and

stand your ground on the evil day (of danger) and having done all the

(crisis demands), to stand (firmly in your place).

Stand therefore (hold your ground) having tightened the belt of truth

around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and moral

rectitude and right standing with God,

And having shod your feet in preparation (to face the enemy with  the

firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the

Good News of the Gospel of peace.

Lift up over all the (covering) shield of saving faith, upon which you can

quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked (one).

And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which

is the Word of God.

Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with

every manner of entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong

purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s

consecrated people).

And (pray) for me, that utterance may be given me, that I may open my

mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the Good News ( the Gospel).

(Ephesians 6.10-19).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

1) God’s full armor provides us with all we need to send our ground against

spiritual attacks. The battles we are engaged in appear to be physical.

They are however all spiritual. The only way to win is to be equipped with

all the spiritual armament God has given us.

2) The spiritual weapons we have are truth, right standing, the Good News,

faith, salvation and the Word of God.

3) We can discern that the enemy will try to throw us off-base, distract,

deter, discourage, depress and destroy. The spiritual strategies, ploys

and plots of the enemy can only be overthrown by the spiritual weapons

we have.

4) We have the truth. God’s word is truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and

the life. The more you know the word of God that is in the Holy Bible

the more confident you will be about your standing with God. You will

have the assurance of knowing that you rest on God’s promises, never

on your performance. When you stand firm on His word of promise

that is truth, you know that victory is His and His victory is yours.

5) The Gospel is the Best News ever. The fact that God loves you so much

that He sent His Unique Son Jesus to come and save you from destruction

by believing in Him is the greatest news. We have the faith of Christ and His

faith enables us to believe and trust in Him always. His faith enables us to

be saved. Because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten

Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting

life. The Gospel is the Good News of salvation by grace (unearned favor)

by faith. So, His word tells us we are His, saved by the Word (Jesus), to

have right standing with Him by His faith. This, the Best News ever is our

best and strongest weapon.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! HALLELUJAH!

NEEDED

NEEDED

Concern, care and humility of a serving heart are needed for harmony in the

work environment.

St. Paul’s directives in this regard are very helpful especially in our time.

He talks to servants and masters. Today he might have referred to them

as employers and employees. He might have talked about management

teams, workforce, upper management, executives and labor.

However the principles are timeless.

Here is what he has to say:

“Servants, be obedient to those who are your physical masters, having

respect for them and eager concern to please them, in singleness of

motive and with all your heart, as service to Christ (Himself)-

Not in the way of eye-service (as if they were watching you) and only to

please men, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God heartily and

with your whole soul;

Rendering service readily with goodwill, as to the Lord and not to men,

Knowing that for whatever good anyone does, he will receive his reward

from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.

You masters, act on the same principle toward them and give up threatening

and using violent and abusive words knowing that He Who is both their

Master and yours in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons or

partiality with Him.”

(Ephesians 6.5-9).

POINTS FOR MEDITATION AND PRAISE

1) Our Lord Jesus Christ came to serve and not be served. Though He is

all-powerful, He became the servant of humanity.

2) Our attitude should be His attitude.

3) Employees who do their work as unto the Lord will prosper and

will be promoted by the Lord.

4) Employers need to remember that they are the servants of the Most High.

5) Everyone can work cheerfully without resentment, since we are serving

the Lord when we serve one another.

6) Terms like ” respect, concern, eagerly, to please, in singleness of motive,

whole-hearted, heartily, with all your soul, readily, with goodwill”

describe the ideal work environment, enterprise, company, school,

factory, department, office, store, restaurant, business or project.

7) To succeed in all we endeavor we need to be strong in the Lord

and in the power of His might. This is what we will see tomorrow.

PRAISE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS MAGNIFICIENT GIFT
OF HIMSELF AS WE CELEBRATE HIS ADVENT! HALLELUJAH!

JOINT-HEIRS

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Joint-heirs of the grace of life implies equality. This is true equality.

This also implies great benefit, excellent opportunity, perfect harmony

and unity. The husband seeks to help, protect, cherish and honor his wife.

The wife also seeks to acknowledge, value, enjoy and love her husband.

The following verse describes such a union:

Finally, all of you should be harmonious, united in spirit, sympathizing

with one another, loving each other as brethren compassionate and

courteous (tenderhearted and humble).

(I. Peter 3.8).

The love, peace, joy and happiness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

be  with you all. AMEN!
